Simultaneously, we are striving to highlight the role of knowledge by supporting research, development, publishing, and translation activities to empower the in general and youth in particular,” H.E. added.

Furthermore, the meeting also reviewed MBRF’s initiatives to enhance the role of the Arabic language, including the ‘Bil Arabi’ initiative, which organizes various Arabic language events through digital and social media channels. Another topic of the meeting was the MBRF’s Digital Knowledge Hub, the largest open Arabic platform and incubator for digital content, which offers a free environment for institutions to share digital content, thus enabling their online presence. Being the first platform at the Arab level to offer features such as subscriptions for institutions, individuals, and the market on a single platform, the Hub helps Arab publishers establish a strong presence in the UAE and the wider Arab region. The Hub also enables all users, including students, researchers, and readers, to access free knowledge without restrictions.

The Hub’s role was also highlighted in relation to promoting reading by providing access to a huge collection of books and literature in Arabic in various fields of knowledge, as well as the dissemination of Arabic knowledge to the world.
