MBRF delegation explores bilateral cooperation opportunities with King Faisal International Prize

February 22, 2023-  His Excellency Jamal bin Huwaireb, CEO of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF), met with Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Sabeel, Secretary General of the "King Faisal International Prize," to explore bilateral cooperation between the two sides. The meeting was held during the Foundation’s delegation visit to the KFP’s headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, the parties explored possible ways to boost prospects for creating collaborative initiatives and projects that could enhance the rate of the knowledge movement and make significant contributions to advancing ideas and development at various levels. The delegation also reviewed the knowledge landscape in the Arab world and emphasized the significance of joint efforts between institutions responsible for accelerating the pace of development of knowledge and science.

His Excellency Jamal bin Huwaireb said: “We are excited to continue investigating opportunities to expand our partnership with the King Faisal International Prize. The award is one of the oldest leading platforms renowned for stimulating knowledge excellence, enhancing development in different fields, recognizing pioneers, and influential intellectual, scientific, and literary contributors for more than four decades.”

Additionally, H.E. Bin Huwaireb highlighted the MBRF’s keenness to bridge knowledge cooperation and open wider prospects for more partnerships with developmental and scientific dimensions to offer an ideal environment to encourage innovation and creativity. The Foundation also seeks to provide the younger generation with tools that allow them to hold a significant role in increasing the pace of knowledge progress, which marks a solid foundation for societal development and the shift towards knowledge economies.
