MBRF concludes participation at Al Ain Book Festival 2022

20 November 2022 – The Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF) concluded its participation in the 13th edition of Al Ain Book Festival 2022, organized by the Abu Dhabi Arabic Language Centre of the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism. The event was held under the theme ‘All Eyes on Al Ain’, from November 14 to 20, 2022, at the Hazza bin Zayed Stadium.

During its participation, the Foundation unveiled its recent publications on the Dubai International Program for Writing and Qindeel Printing, Publishing, and Distribution. The event served as an ideal venue for showcasing and introducing various knowledge publications of this program, as well as its activities, along with promoting creativity, innovation, and knowledge related to business management. MBRF’s participation in this event aligns with its commitment to take part in significant knowledge events and initiatives, as well as communicating with decision-makers and keeping pace with recent developments in the field of publishing, its technologies, and future advancements.

H.E. Jamal bin Huwaireb, CEO of MBRF, expressed his delight at being a part of this festival, which offers knowledge that upholds Emirati values, fosters a reading community, and enhances the importance of reading and its impact on individuals, thereby fostering the development of a cultured society capable of advancing the nation's sustainable development path in all aspects. He further applauded the festival's enormous success and pointed out that it is a component of ongoing outreach efforts in addition to serving as a forum for the interaction and knowledge-sharing of artists, writers, authors, poets, and other creators of knowledge-based content.

Since its founding in 2000, Al Ain Book Festival has celebrated various works and creative accomplishments of Emirati authors thought leaders, and artists, as well as Al Ain’s rich cultural legacy. The festival includes a variety of activities designed to promote reading and educate people on Emirati history, culture, and innovation. The festival also strives to highlight Al Ain's cultural legacy and strengthen its position in the cultural landscape, while focusing on the youth and offering a pleasant experience to its participants through various activities, seminars, and events.
